Proverbs 15:15
All the days of the afflicted are evil,
But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast.

Proverbs 15:13
A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance,
But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Psalm 4:7
You have put gladness in my heart,
More than in the season that their grain and wine increased.

Only a person who stay happy will celebrate everyday because he respond positively to circumstances. He know that as a believer of God, His every steps are directed by God. And all things work out for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose. He knew that Jesus won the battle and we have every reason to celebrate. Only a person who stay happy will smile and not be depressed. He will being a smile to others. David understood that God the Father wants him to stay happy though he suffer affliction. Those who choose to think negative without an effort of wanting to change, evil will follow him. It is written in Psalm 15:15. David also responded with a great attitude of faith saying, " You have put gladness in my heart, More than the season that their grain and wine increased.

I believe that God wants me to be happy. He wants me to celebrate with him every day to have a feast(fellowship) together. I want goodness and mercy to follow me and not evil. I believe that God has put gladness in my heart and I just have to put in and effort to smile and be cheerful. Indeed a cheerful heart is a medicine to the soul. I want to be healthy as a whole.Though everyday i have tormenting thoughts, I believe that as I fixed my eyes upon Jesus, I will feel joy. I will not focus on pain. Thank God that I still smile and put in effort to be happy. I believe that God will deliver me from the negative stronghold that the devil has put in my mind. It's for freedom that Christ has set me free. All I ever one, all I ever need, all I ever have is You. Jesus, You are the true and everlasting friend that stay with me forever. I hope that one day You will call me your friend like Moses. :)

Seeking God First

Matthew 6:33-34

33"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
34 " Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

What do we mean by seeking God first? It is easier said than done. It is to put things aside of us if it take away our focus from Him. There are lots of needs and desire and human are self centered. We always think about ourselves. We want to have our needs and desire met and fulfilled that sometimes we lose our focus in God. We existed on earth to fellowship with God in the first place. If we are conformed to the world and the world start to transform us, how disastrous can it get? How sad it is at the end of the day when we leave God because of the world!

The bible says in Romans 12:2

And do not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I told myself to read God's word even more because I want to be trasnformed. I am too tired of seeing my life unchanged. Even though how hurt I am, I still need to move on because I love God. And that love I have for Him will push me and let me carry on in life to live a life of legacy.....
